Avalon Weddings & Ministries

Joining Two Hearts Into One Perfect Beat!

  1. Are the ceremonies performed by Avalon Weddings and Ministries legally binding?

Yes. I am a legally ordained minister and all ceremonies are 100% legally binding. If you are not completely sure of your level of commitment, I may not be the minister for you.

  2. Does Avalon Weddings & Ministries charge for their services?

Yes, we do charge fees for the ceremonies. These fees are collected as donations toward the growth of the ministry, not sales for services rendered. We are not a "business". We are a ministry that must grow in order to continue to serve the community.

  3. What types of ceremonies do you perform?

We can perform any type of ceremony, including but not limited to: civil ceremonies, religion specific weddings, theme weddings, baby naming ceremonies, funerals, memorials, and many more rites of passage.

  4. Do you help celebrate LGBT weddings?

Absolutely! As of November 19, 2014, Montana has overturned the marriage ban for LGBT couples. We would love to help you celebrate your big day!

  5. Why is the deposit non-refundable?

The deposit serves two purposes. First, it reserves my services for the specific day you want for your wedding. Second, it helps to cover any charges relating to, or incurred during the planning of your ceremony. If you reserve my services and then cancel your ceremony, AWM loses money because of the waste of supplies and such. If you cancel, you agree to forfeit your deposit to cover these wasted supplies. The forfeiture of your deposit does not apply if you are re-scheduling your ceremony ONLY.

  6. What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept: Money Orders, Personal Checks, Cash, Credit Cards, and PayPal. All checks and money orders must be payable to "Mike Darrow". NOTE: All personal checks are subject to a 3 business day hold to allow the checks to clear. Please do not send cash through the mail. If you decide to pay with Credit Cards or PayPal, please email me first. I will send you a PayPal invoice for you to pay. It's just easier that way.
